The vision for Neo Age Live (Brand) is to be globally recognized as the leading talent showcase for the most talented aspiring and rising artists in the genres of Soul and R&B music, by consistently producing and developing premier platforms for them to perform their music without being stifled by the ability to be creative and conveyed authentically from the soul.

Neo Age Live: The Home for new Soul and R&B is a concert experience co-created with The Historic Howard Theatre in Washington D.C. that sets precedent for Soul and R&B music. This experience is a seasonal premier showcase, presenting the most talented and popular rising artists from both the DMV community and across the nation. Notable past performers have included FOX TV’s EMPIRE, V. Bozeman, RCA Records, Avery Wilson, Reesa Renee, and partners including Frito Lay, Pepsico, 93.9 WKYS, and DUSSE; the Neo Age Live brand is passionate about helping the most talented rising Soul and R&B artists in their careers by providing them with premier performing platforms, media attention, and access to new fans through live entertainment events.

As media/video production intern, you will participate in the filming and editing of a new digital content series entitled The Soul Stage Series in partnership with Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center and YouKnowIGotSoul.com. The Soul Stage - will will serve as an online digital content series that features live performances with a band and interviews from rising DMV; R&B, Soul and Spoken Word artists. In addition you will participate in the recording and editing of interviews + performances of the live concerts at The Historic Howard Theatre. This role requires a heavy emphasis be placed on creativity, consistency, and confidence.

-Assist in all aspects of video and photographic communications and contribute to planning and story boarding.
-Film video and shoot photographs in studio and field environments.
-Use existing original and stock footage to produce new videos.
-Contribute to mixing and editing to create polished and engaging videos.

-Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that succinctly and clearly tell the desired story
-Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication
-Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite and/or iMovie
-Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment
-Edit video for promotional and social media pieces
-Must Live in Washington D.C., Maryland, or Virginia
