Greater Wilkes-Barre Chambe

The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce is a member-driven organization representing hundreds of businesses and organizations, focused on helping members grow and succeed in Northeastern PA.

The role of the Economic & Entrepreneurial Development Intern is to work with the Vice President of Economic Development to coordinate and execute the Wilkes-Barre Connect Program to attract, encourage, and drive entrepreneurship and business development in Greater Wilkes-Barre.

-Connect startups and existing businesses to the necessary services and providers to accelerate them through the business life cycle.
-Review intake forms.
-Manage the Connect database.
-manage touch points.
-Attend monthly Connect meetings.

-Strong evidence of organizational leadership, community service, businesses strategy, and system management experience are encouraged.
-Major/Minor and relevant coursework in business, entrepreneurship, economics or related field.
