Cutting Fabric and Patterns
Helping with the brainstorming of a collection
Pattern Draping and Drafting
Pattern Manipulation
Cleaning Workspace
Organizing (patterns, garments, fabrics, tool & etc.)
Sketching
Research
Errands
Labeling
Sewing
Pattern Marking
Marker Making
Need to be able to keep track of how much fabric was used per garment.
Color board preparation
Timing: The position will be 15-30 hrs/week, preferably at least a minimum of two days per week

FASHION DESIGN
Candidates must be able to pattern draft, pattern drape, cut patterns, sew and cut fabrics. This candidate should be at least a junior level fashion design student or have all the above skills. The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills and should be able to listen and take direction accordingly. This candidate will be directed and work hand in hand with the Owner/Designer. Candidates familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email is helpful. Interns knowledgeable on creating Specification Packets is a plus.
