Shooq, LLC

Shooq is a mobile service which allows students to buy, sell, and rent textbooks through a chatbot. Shooq has been testing the market and is currently in development of the software, which is scheduled to launch by the end of September.

This position entails the following:
- Develop, test, and improve the chatbot software with PHP and Laravel Framework
- Updating and improving the company website (work closely with the graphic designer to complete this)

NOTE: Shooq is also in the process of developing an iOS mobile application. If the applicant wishes to take part in the iOS development, he or she may do that as well.

Hours:
- Much of the work can be completed virtually, however team meeting will occur 1 to 3 times per week.

- Contribute in improving functionality and profitability of software

- QA testing and bug tracking

- Competency in the following: PHP, Laravel Framework, APIs
- Understand how computers and software can increase efficiency
- Possess skills in analyzing, formulating, trouble-shooting, and synthesizing
