Paradox Process-Healing and Discovery

We are a company that represents a mindfulness technique called the "Paradox Process" and are looking for funding for research and to integrate into school systems. We are currently running a study in the Montessori system. In addition, we will be doing research into the effects of the Paradox Process on the brain and brain activity. We will be doing the social and scientific research necessary in order to quantify the cognitive effect and the emotional effect of the Paradox Process.

Primary responsibilities include preparation of proposals and grant applications, and performance of responsible administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and responding to public and private grant opportunities in the areas of Science, Education, Arts and Cultural Programs, Youth and Children, Community Development, Healthcare Services, Human Services, Medical/Research, Mental Health, Public Affairs, Recreation/Sports, Social Services.

Qualified candidates should possess excellent writing and computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Access, Powerpoint and Excel), and database management skills. The candidate must be highly organized with the ability to implement systems and follow-up processes, able to effectively work under pressure, use independent judgment and produce a quality work product within tight time constraints. Previous experience will demonstrate a proven track record in securing new funding opportunities; comprehensive knowledge of research, and the ability to distinguish and identify funding opportunities for special programs.
