From the Hip Photo

From the Hip Photo, a forward-thinking, Denver-based wedding and lifestyle photography company, is looking for an intern interested in learning all aspects of the film field. The intern who fills this position should expect to learn the field from top to bottom and will leave with an improved understanding of the photography, videography and small business landscape.

Work on specialized short-term projects in close coordination with our owners, photographers and clients

 Documenting our Stanley Marketplace studio build-out this winter/spring

 Video FAQs to add visual/audio elements to our FAQ webpage

 Video testimonials of clients

 Video profiles on our individual team members

 Video features on our different services (incorporating behind the scenes footage during sessions, interviews, etc.)

Students applying for this internship should be majoring in Videography, Film, Media Production or other relevant fields. They must have their own basic video/film equipment.

Applicants must have strong verbal communication skills and experience with video/film. An understanding of social media and familiarity with the Adobe suite of applications and/or editing software are beneficial.

Most importantly, we are looking for applicants who love hands-on learning, want to be in a fast-paced environment where they can work closely with our entire team, and see what it's like to successfully grow a prestigious small business.
