Aerospace Engineering Intern (Summer 2017) (항공공학)
Boom Technology
상세설명
In aerospace, there are two great passions—either you want to build a rocket and colonize Mars or you want to build fast airplanes. All of our friends are on Earth, so we’re more excited about airplanes.
Boom Technology is building the supersonic passenger airplane you can afford to fly. Think New York to London in 3.5 hours instead of 7, but at the same price as business class.
50 years after Concorde, Boom is applying the latest aerodynamics, engines, and materials with Silicon Valley-style lean development to bring back supersonic flight. Boom's aircraft will cross oceans at more than twice the speed of sound—2.6X faster than other airliners.

Interns at Boom will have the opportunity join an exciting aircraft startup focused on world-changing technology. We are offering an amazing opportunity to take ownership of individual design projects spanning mechanical design, composite manufacturing and tooling design, and aircraft systems design and modeling. Our interns work on real stuff - like designing and building a hydraulic test rig for flight control actuators, or performing CFD analysis alongside the aerodynamic team to shape the supersonic prototype. We’re looking for passionate and talented aerospace and mechanical engineering students, one year from graduation. The ideal candidates will have a strong 'Maker' culture, be passionate about aircraft, have a garage full of model airplanes, and notebooks full of aircraft sketches.
